German Bundesliga side, Bayer 04 Leverkusen, have officially announced the appointment of Erik ten Hag as their new head coach.
The Dutchman has signed a contract to keep him at the club until June 2027.

“Erik Ten Hag signs with Bayer 04 as our new head coach until 2027!” the club posted in an official statement on Monday via X, inviting Ten Hag, to confirm the deal.
The 54-year-old tactician replaces Xabi Alonso, who previously led Leverkusen to domestic success.
After Alonso’s departure, ten Hag was widely considered the main candidate for the role.
The club confirmed that the deal is a two-year agreement, running through the end of the 2026/27 season.
